I don't know if any of you have heard of this or not. Apparently, this woman already had six kids and opted to have In vitro again. She ended up having octuplets. Any thoughts? www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25099855-663,00.html |

I love babies and children, I have 2 of my own, but I work and take care of them on my own. This woman has no job, is in danger of losing her home in the next couple of weeks and it would appear the taxpayers of this state will have to pay to raise those children. Yet she can afford manicures and video games...what the heck is that about?
Those children deserve a wonderful life with a mother and a father and a loving home which in this case, I dont think she can provide. Wanting and desiring children is one thing, but make sure you can take care of them, nurture them to grow into responsible adults.
The doctor who agreed to do this procedure, I am annoyed with for allowing the IVF procedure on this young woman. He should face some serious questions from the Medical Licensing Board.
The whole situation to me is sad, but my sympathies lie with those beautiful babies.

I have to agree with you celticgirl. I can't imagine having that many kids. It's hard enough to raise three being single. I just hope these kids are loved and have a good life. I think the mother did it for the attention and hopefully her own TV show in the future. I know how they like to put stuff like this into a reality show. Have any of you seen how much formula and diapers cost these days?  I don't think I could have another child even if I wanted to. I wouldn't be able to afford one new baby let alone 8. There are so many people in the world that want children and can't have them. Then I hear about something like this and it breaks my heart. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that all of them are doing relatively well. It's just too much for a single woman to try and take on with all the other children she already has. It is really sad. |
